The Vineyard
The Rosati Cabernet Sauvignon Wines trace their origins to one of California’s most illustrious
vineyards, Ridge Vineyards. In 1987, one of Ridge Vineyard’s founders, Dave Bennion, took
cuttings from the premier vineyard at Jimsomare Ranch to the Rosati Ranch in southern Mendocino
County. There amongst 1,500 steep acres, he chose his favorite hilltop site, and planted ten
acres of this extraordinary Cabernet Sauvignon stock.
